How It Works

I cover math courses ranging from pre-algebra through AP Calculus, as well as College Calculus, Business Calculus, Discrete Math, and SAT and ACT Math preparation. This also includes the IB Math curriculum. (Please note: I do not tutor AP Statistics.)

I meet with students online via Zoom, which allows me to work with students from any location. For local students near Highlands Ranch, CO, I’m also happy to meet in person at the Highlands Ranch public library at an agreed-upon time.

The cost is $80 per one-hour session. Accepted forms of payment include cash, Zelle, or Venmo. If you mention my website, your first introductory session is half-price!

• How often should my son or daughter meet with you? 

  • • I usually recommend starting with one hour per week to see how things are going. From there, we can adjust the schedule as needed based on your child’s progress and goals. 

• Is it possible to meet for less than an hour? If so, what is the rate? 

  • • Yes, shorter sessions are sometimes an option. After discussing it with the family, I may recommend partial sessions to see if they are a good fit—this is often the case for younger students, such as those in middle school. My goal is always to find a schedule that works best for both the student and the family. The cost is prorated at $20 per 15 minutes. 

• Do you work with more than one student at a time? 

  • • Typically, I work with students one-on-one unless the family requests otherwise. I have worked with siblings together and with pairs of friends during SAT preparation. I am also open to working with small groups of up to three students upon request. Group sessions are handled on a case-by-case basis.

• Do you do remediation work with students over the summer?

  • • Absolutely! I create customized plans to help students review, strengthen, and catch up on material they may have missed or struggled with during the school year.
