How It Works

I cover math courses from pre-algebra through AP Calculus, College Calculus, Business Calculus, Discrete Math, and SAT and ACT Math Prep. This includes the IB Math Curriculum. (I do not tutor AP Statistics.) 

I can meet with students from any location online over Zoom. 

If a student is local (near Highlands Ranch, CO) and would like to meet in person, I meet with students at the public library in Highlands Ranch at an agreed-upon time.

$80 per one-hour session. Accepted payment forms are cash or Venmo. (Mention my website, and you get the first introductory session for half-price!)

• How often should my son/daughter meet with you? 

  • • I usually recommend starting on a schedule of one hour a week to see how things are going, and then we can adjust as needed. 

• Is it possible to meet for less than an hour? If so, what is the rate? 

  • • I have sometimes met with students for partial sessions after discussions with the families to see if that would be a good fit. This is often the case with younger students (middle school). The goal is to find a situation that works best for the family and the student. The cost is prorated at $20 per 15 minutes. 

• Do you work with more than one student at a time? 

  • • No, not unless the family requests this. I have worked with two siblings together before. I have also worked with two friends during SAT preparation. I am willing to work with small groups of up to 3 students if the family/families make the request. These are handled on a case-by-case basis. 

• Do you do remediation work with students over the summer?

  • • Yes! I have put together various plans to help students work through material they have fallen behind on.
